Credit card processing back up, thru Stripe
Hi all,
First, apologies for the payments downtime in the past few days. We're still working on sorting out the root cause with our merchant bank (who apparently got acquired and lost some paperwork), but in the meantime we've integrated with Stripe and are able to accept payments again.
The flow will look at a little different than you're used to, because it will redirect you to a Dreamwidth branded Stripe checkout page, but afterwards you'll end up back on DW and the order will be processed like normal.
Please let us know if you have any problems or questions -- this integration was a little rushed, so if there are any rough edges, I'm sorry (and definitely let me know).
Thanks again for your patience while we sorted this out :)

I did once buy Mark a pizza while he was hard at work on implementing something. The pizza place was very confused about why someone in Maryland was ordering a pizza for someone in California.

(don't get too comfortable tho! 😂 BTW, did I remember to check your pulse on the "next" verison? I know you've got an account on my hack; it's running the current proposal with the more-options/username/browse/random changes.)

Commenting to see the new form, and to ask: is there a way to get this post sent to my email, so I can put it where I'll find it when it's time to renew my account? Or will there be a post about it in News, which does go to my email?
(Oops, I seem to have clicked More Options instead of Post Comment, after reading all about the change! On _this_ form, Post Comment is still on the left.)

New bug?
text
table
- table rows and columns
lines of text
When I scroll down the (text) post editor, it doesn't scroll to the last lines of text. And when I manually arrow down to the last line(s) of text, I lose the editing buttons at the top of the post screen. Scrolling up doesn't bring them back. Going to HTML editing or refreshing the page brings them back but sometimes I run into the same problem. I use a Chromebook.

I hope you don't get hit with the same issues which you had with banks back when DW was first set up.

I tried to make my payment earlier on this evening for my paid account (to renew it for the month). It still says that it's processing the payment. Does it usually take a while before it goes through, with this new system?
I appreciate your help! <3

Sorry, we were having some database problems earlier! Your payment should have been applied, but if it hasn't been, open a support request in Account Payments and I'll take a look at it and see what's up.
