Credit card processing back up, thru Stripe

Hi all,

First, apologies for the payments downtime in the past few days. We're still working on sorting out the root cause with our merchant bank (who apparently got acquired and lost some paperwork), but in the meantime we've integrated with Stripe and are able to accept payments again.

The flow will look at a little different than you're used to, because it will redirect you to a Dreamwidth branded Stripe checkout page, but afterwards you'll end up back on DW and the order will be processed like normal.

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions -- this integration was a little rushed, so if there are any rough edges, I'm sorry (and definitely let me know).

Haven't tested the payment system yet (going to in a second here) but! Small thing - the ability to stretch/resize the comment box horizontally is all borked again. Is that something that can be fixed please?

Is that something an extension gives you? If so you'll have to contact the extension author.

No, I don't think so? It's the little arrow down in the corner of the comment box, you know how you can pull it down and make the comment box longer? I just can't pull it to the right anymore, which I could before the code-push.

I don't think it's part of an extension. It was an issue last time the comment boxes code got messed with, and then it got fixed.

Okay, that's beyond my pay grade, heh. I'll see if our CSS guy has any idea.

Weirdly, it works in some conditions but not in others. Exciting side-effect of the particular way I broke it this time. You might have noticed the form now expands to the left sometimes if a nested comment thread would have squished it too much — if it does that, you can resize it as much as you want, but if it thinks it has enough space, it blocks resizing. Very trolly.

Thanks for reporting, I found the problem! There's a fix and it'll probably ship soonish.

Yes, it's something I broke, sorry. (At least I broke it in a different way this time! 😅) The version that's live right now was a sort of temporary step between the last version and the next version (finished but not reviewed and merged yet), which meant it didn't get as long of a testing period as the next version did.
