Code push!

We will be performing tonight's code push in a few minutes. There'll be a brief downtime, but not longer than a few minutes. (Ideally, that is.)

I'll update this entry when we're back, and people can report issues here.

We're currently having an issue with the image proxy for accessing the site via HTTPS -- images are currently failing to load. We'll have that fixed as soon as we can.

I'm one of the admins of aceattorneybigbang and we're having issues with:


1. Images hosted on imgur and posted to DW. Not showing, broken links.
2. Links to AO3 user names. All links broken.
3. Links to tumblr user names. All links also broken.

Okay, I see the problem -- it's the proxy for HTTPS/SSL content loading that's returning bad results at the moment. mark and fu, who are the ones who can fix it, have gone to bed, but I'll make sure they know about it. They're traveling tomorrow -- we're all at a conference together -- but we'll get it fixed as soon as possible.

(In the meantime, you can avoid the problem by switching to http instead of https -- we only proxy images like that when they're requested via HTTPS.)

Oh, absolutely, it'll get fixed as soon as possible! 'As soon as possible' will just be in the morning at earliest, and possibly in the later afternoon/evening (depending on when the people who can fix it are available, since tomorrow is a Travel Day for them.)

DW is the most issue-free platform I've ever blogged on, by the way. I appreciate how you don't force a lot of major unwanted changes on your users, how the site stays up with remarkable consistency and there's just an overall lack of drama from the user's point of view. Your quick and open response times to queries are refreshing.

I echo the previous commenter completely! I just came on here today a few minutes ago and have been reading through these comments. But I am absolutely thrilled with Dw! And, from an accessibility standpoint you really get it! No probs on my end thus far, but as always I shall report back if and when I encounter some undesirable behavior.
