Tonight's code push is now complete! As always, please report any issues here.

(We're particularly interested in issues with HTTPS browsing; we're getting closer to ironing out all the bugs, but we know it's still not perfect.)

PLEASE NOTE: If you're coming to report an entry in your journal not displaying properly, and there's a <table> in the entry (or you're reporting a problem with your journal displaying properly and there's an entry with a <table> somewhere visible on the page): please check the entry's source and make sure the HTML of the table is constructed properly. We've made a change to our HTML cleaner to be more strict about missing tags and tags that were closed in a different order than they were opened. Most of the display problems people have reported have been because a table in an entry was missing closing </td>/</tr>tags!

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

Just pointing out that the third example, the missing table tag was added, but it still has the white bar at the top? And the comments are still borked. Here is the white bar I mean!

You're missing the </td></tr> before the final </table>, still.

Nah, happens to all of us sometimes. :) Just be sure you close any tags you open!

re: your edit: hm. at this point I'm guessing there's a missing tag or two in your standard accept/reject template, which is my only real idea about what might be causing it. Can you paste what you usually use in a comment? (I get plain-text comment notif emails so you don't really have to escape it, but put it in a <textarea> anyway?)

I don't have access to the file the mods copy and paste that from, but checking the source page you seem to be right! I'll drop them a note and let them know! :D

That would definitely do it! If that's the case, my best suggestion is for the mods to screen the accept/reject comments -- at least then, they'll be the only ones seeing the broken version of the page. (Or, they can delete the comments and repost them with corrected HTML, but that might be a little odd to have happen several years later in some cases!)
