I got a pop-up with the message 'error' just now. It's probably because my internet was going wonky, but I figured I should mention it. (I was just loading my reading page, so nothing unusual at all there.)

That usually means that your internet crapped out while you were trying to load something, yes! If you notice it happening when your internet connection isn't being wonky, or happening regularly, let us know again, though.
