Planned load balancer failover shortly

Hi all,

As part of our new hardware project, I'm going to be failing us over to our new load balancers. This will involve a brief downtime for the site while everything fails over, but it should be less than 60 seconds.

I noticed last night that the arrows to expand and collapse would only be there to expand them. After you clicked them open, the word 'Collapse' would replace the arrows at the top and bottom of the cut text.

Now the arrows are gone and all I have are Expand to open and Collapse to close.

For me, the expand/collapse arrows appear to be broken. I'm only seeing a part of a little transparent box. (Like the traditional "box with red X", but cut off so that there's just a sliver of it.)

I think it depends on the layout. Some seem to be doing what my layout's doing, some seem to be just showing the outline of the box. I'm glad it's not just me, but I hope there's a fix for it soon.

Haven't got that, I've got text saying 'Expand' (or 'Collapse' if the cut has been expanded.)

Windows 7 running Firefox (looks like the most recent version - 21.0? I know it updated recently). I noticed it on my reading page this afternoon and my current layout is Turtle for Practicality, if that's any help.

I'm not reproducing with my copy of FF -- can you do a hard refresh (shift+reload) and clear your browser cache if that doesn't work?

[support person here] And this should be fixed now! I can certainly see them again on your journal. If you don't try and (hard) refresh the page, and that should do the trick.

Hi there! Mark's just fixed this so could you see if it's fixed on your end? You may need to refresh pages to see the arrows again.

Yeah, the same for me - I thought it might just be the layout I was using, but it appears in any of the layouts I've changed to.

Newest versions of Chrome and Firefox. I get the boxes on Chrome and the collapse/expand on Firefox.

Thanks =) I appreciate the prompt response. It's weird that it happened in stages last night. I saw the arrows still there and usable on Firefox to expand the cut, leaving me with the 'collapse' words around one-two am, but by four am, it was just collapse/expand.
