ETA: Briefly broke entries and journal pages for viewers who aren't logged in. Fixed now; if you were running into an error earlier try again..

I don't know if this is an issue per say, but I looked through the code tours to see if it was a bug being fixed, and I couldn't find it:

In the inbox, there is now "Reply | Link | Parent" both above and below the comment - is this a new thing, or am I just really unobservant?

two bugs in the inbox

1) top selection/paging bar is gone - at first it was still visible in my "all items" view, but now it's not showing up there either; bottom bar still visible in all views. (tested in Camino and Safari)

ETA: top bar came back when I got the notification for this comment, but when I deleted it and refreshed, it was gone again.

2) "filter to this entry" doesn't catch the edited comment notifications.

2) belongs in Bugzilla, probably, since it's going to require a bunch of changes to the ESN backend -- it isn't just an oversight

Okay, (2) is in Bugzilla (#3583). It's more of a "would be nice" thing anyway; it's (1) that is driving me crazy right now.

Mmm. I am pretty sure that #1 was deliberate; both bars now only show up when there are > 10 items on the page, to reduce the clutter. Need to think about it some though. Looks like it's confusing a bunch of people.

It looks like other people are experiencing this (or something similar) as well.

In my Inbox, the top shows two buttons: "Mark All Read" and "Delete All"
I have to scroll down to the bottom to see: "Mark Read", "Mark Unread" and "Delete Selected"

This is happening both in FF 3.6.16 and IE v 7.0.6002.18005. I use Vista. It happens with all of the site schemes I tried: Tropo Red, Grad Vert, Celerity, and Lynx.

I haven't tested it in anything other than Firefox (3.6.16), but this is happening to me as well, and azurelunatic tells me it's a bug.

Inbox: can we have the bars back please?

I'd really like to have the 'Mark Read' bar back no matter how many items I have in my inbox. I've used both bars indiscriminately and the top one more often and I really miss it (plus I think the page looks really weird now).

BTW, wasn't 'mark all read' and 'delete all' at the bottom as well or have I dreamed that?

Edit: if this should go to feedback or suggestions, please tell me so.

No need to go to suggestions (though in a different scenario, maybe, since IIRC this was implemented as part of a suggestion originally).

I've reverted the change, since it looked like it wasn't working out in practice -- thanks for the comment (and volunteering, etc!)

Getting error 404

I cannot access the actual group site in anyway. I get the feed in my reading pane, but get error 404 (Page not found) when I click on the "posted in Peopleofthedas" link to the site. I also get the error from my bookmark for the group and if I try to access the group after getting the main page through a DW search. Really annoying.

Hmm, what link are you trying to visit?

http://peopleofthedas.dreamwidth.org/ works for me, so I'm trying to figure out if there's something else happening, or if you're referring to a different page.

problem with import

I am new here, so not sure if this is the right place to ask questions. If it is not, could you please point me in the right direction :)

Problem: I am trying to import my journal from LJ. Tags, custom groups go up just fine, until I get to actual entries. At this moment I am getting an "aborted" status. Tried few times, every time the same result.
Any idea on what to do with this?

Imports from LJ aren't working very well right now because LJ is experiencing DDoS attacks and can't respond to the importer. Support has been telling folks to hold off on importing to give LJ time to recover, so try again in a couple of days.
