code updated

The code push has completed. If you see anything weird or broken, please let us know.

There was a brief error with being able to post entries that has since been resolved. I'm very sorry for that, but it should be okay now.

Thank you, Mark. I do think you have a great site here, and I completely understand what you're talking about as far as site enhancements causing problems for people who are happy as is. Your transparency and successful efforts at customer service are really admirable. I don't think you need to do anything different than you have been.

For me in particular, layouts are trial and error, and I don't mind that...I've learned a lot but I'm not interested enough to learn more than I have. I just don't want to feel like an amateur shouldn't be messing around on this site, especially when I've supported it so much, and that's why I overreacted to 900degrees.

I'll continue to sing the praises of Dreamwidth. Also, just thought I'd let you know that one of the main reasons I've completely switched to Dreamwidth is the continuing nonsense with RSS feeds not updating over at lj, so keep up the good work.

Well, dude, also, Dreamwidth just started in April (or did my memory module malfunction again?) and you guys are re-writing S2 from the ground up and making it fit with current technologies more than old S2 did.

So, yeah, things are going to break every now and then, until the dust settles, and the construction crew have finished with Core2.

Yes?

This. The site is so shiny you wouldn't think it's still in a beta phase: it works as wells as LJ if not better. Kinda like when Gmail was in beta (still is?).
