We've been having this issue too the last couple of days on the hd_erised community. We were having the issue even with Captchas turned OFF for everyone, so I had to switch to the "visual captcha" instead of "text-based" and turn it back on for anon commenters. I'm not sure if it's entirely resolved, still, but hopefully Dreamwidth fixes it soon!
