in one person's case, it's causing an actual accessibility issue for that person, and in the other, it's creating a navigation problem.

note that we personally do not visit the dw home page, so we know nothing about this and have not experienced this issue. we're just redirecting others' reports to the place the devs requested them. we do not know the people who reported these issues and have not communicated with them.
(we hope this doesn't come across as pushy or anything, we personally have no stake in this issue and even if we did, we'd want the devs/volunteers/whoever's working on things to take their time and do things at their own pace. we just saw that there were reports in the wrong place and after checking timestamps vs time of dev responses here, thought it might help to put them in the right place, maybe.)
p.s. thankyou very very much to the devs & volunteers & everyone working so hard to keep dw going! we appreciate you all so much! <3

awesome! ^_^ we thought you'd probably catch them regardless, you're always very thorough and good at finding things that end up in the wrong places, it seems like. but we weren't sure if it'd make things easier for you, if stuff was collected together. it's good to know we don't need to worry about it, thankyou for letting us know! <3

we've been on other social media sites, and we'd never bother to spend spoons on a little thing like this over there, because the folks running things there don't treat users with the respect and kindness that you do here, don't support our & others' accessibility needs, and aren't transparent about what's going on. here on dreamwidth, we know we can trust the devs, we know you have our backs, and we know enough about what goes on and how you operate to have an inkling about what may or may not be useful (even if our guesses aren't accurate, we have guesses).
it's a scary world out there right now, and dreamwidth is about the only place on the internet where we feel genuinely like we're in safe hands and that's not going to change. we appreciate you all (devs, volunteers, everyone who contributes) so much. <3 <3 <3
