aww, well the feeling is entirely mutual! <3 you all built this community, it's a mirror for yourselves. the ways you as a dev team handle communication, site management/development, and user interactions are what laid the blueprint for the ways users have responded.
we've been on other social media sites, and we'd never bother to spend spoons on a little thing like this over there, because the folks running things there don't treat users with the respect and kindness that you do here, don't support our & others' accessibility needs, and aren't transparent about what's going on. here on dreamwidth, we know we can trust the devs, we know you have our backs, and we know enough about what goes on and how you operate to have an inkling about what may or may not be useful (even if our guesses aren't accurate, we have guesses).
it's a scary world out there right now, and dreamwidth is about the only place on the internet where we feel genuinely like we're in safe hands and that's not going to change. we appreciate you all (devs, volunteers, everyone who contributes) so much. <3 <3 <3
