There's no size restriction on image file uploads, so if you're having problems, doublecheck your image size to make sure you have the right version and then open a support request so someone can look into it (with a link to the image, uploaded somewhere else on the internet)?

Okay, will do - thanks! It happened with a friend's journal too, which made me think to circle back and ask. :)

hmmmm. You may be grabbing the wrong posting code? The Your Images page has two sets of posting code: the top one is for the full sized image, while the bottom one is for a thumbnail (scaled down) version of the image. The thumbnail defaults to 100px (and can be changed in the drop-down next to the code), so if you copy the bottom code, it will come out as 100x100px (or 100px by whatever size the other dimension would be; we don't change the proportions, just go by the largest dimension). So, if you're copying out of the second of the two text boxes, the image will post at 100px by 100px (or 100px by whatever) -- but it was still uploaded at the full size, and you can post it at the full size by copying the first text box instead of the second. (Am I explaining that well enough? it's been a long day...)

Aha! I figured out what was happening. I went straight from uploading to trying to use that initial URL code in a post. I didn't realize that was a thumbnail only image. Now, as I went over to "manage images", I found where the full-size image is.

Sorry to bother! :)

Ha! This comment notification came in as I was hitting 'send' on the other reply. :) Glad to have figured it out!
