small downtime tonight

Hi all --

I will be taking a small maintenance window tonight to do some work. This is going to be invasive and does require the site to be offline for a few minutes while we reboot a server. I expect this to happen between 9PM PDT and 10PM PDT.

The site will be offline for a short period of 5-10 minutes while the upgrade is performed. I will update Twitter when this happens, as well as this community. Thanks!

No, I'm just familiar with human nature. It seems like everything's up, so people are liable to start bitching about things they run into that aren't there yet--particularly as less experienced folks are invited in.

Re: the GMT request below my original comment, I host a few websites with an outfit called Apollohosting.com. Their headquarters is (I think) in or near Houston. But they choose to run all their physical servers, and my virtual one, on GMT. Gets confusing sometimes when comparing local and remote file directories.
