Just took a downtime window to do a database flip. This will become routine in the future, but for now, you can just picture it as us unplugging the firehose from one machine and plugging it into another machine so we can work on the first one. (What a useful metaphor! Because the Internet is tubes.)

Post here with any errors. I just ran into a 'database unavailable' error, I'm working on tracking it done. If you see anything else that talks about a database or something being unavailable or wrong, please post and let me know.

Edit: Sorry, had to take a second brief downtime. I had forgotten to migrate the MogileFS cluster to the new database. It's moved now, and I've checked everything to make sure nobody is accessing the old master.

I'm not really sure whether you'd consider this an error or not, but is there a reason why the style Negatives Black doesn't seem to recognize certain html tags? (The one I know of is the [font size="#"] tag, which works just fine on the other two styles.)

Hiya! This is not a database or access error but I wasn't sure where to report it. I've just imported my LJ to DW and received all "everything went fine" notifications, except it doesn't seem as if any comments were imported.

Is there a timelag? Anything else I should do? (Oh, and all entries in my account before April 19 are imports).

Will totally understand if you're fully occupied with launch and not able to answer right now.. ;)

Problem with "configure account for crossposting"--not sure where to report

but when I click on Add New Account, it goes to
http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/externalaccount.bml
with a 302 error.

hello. i created a new layer for the livejournal layout codes a while ago but my customization page won't display all of a sudden. it keeps saying Sorry, there was a problem., even if i've already deleted the layer i made. can you please fix this? so sorry for the hassle and thanks in advance.
