Code push on Saturday/Sunday

We will be doing a code push this weekend! [staff profile] mark, [personal profile] fu, and I are in New Zealand for Linux Conf AU, so the code push is planned for Sunday, 18 January, at 8PM New Zealand time (GMT +13). (See this in your time zone.) This is Sunday 2AM EST/7AM GMT/Saturday 11PM PDT.

We'll update you again right before we're ready to get started.

I believe you mean Sunday 7 a.m. GMT, not 11 a.m.

Welcome to New Zealand! Oh man, this may be the first time I've seen a site update posted with NZ times.

Oh ha, Wellington's my town, I just wasn't there in 2010. Internet is definitely a bit of a problem here :'D

NZDT!

Yay, code push times in my own timezone for a change :-)

I liked your LCA2015 talk BTW: as a long time LJ/DW user and Perl programmer from the 1990s it was an interesting insight into how some of the code has aged, and how you're updating it towards modern practices.

Hope you enjoy(ed) your time in New Zealand.

Ewen

And hey, if you decide you want to revisit that Perl from the 1990s, we'd love to have you...

Hehehehhe

:-D

Floodgap Systems' "TTYTTER" is a Twitter client and it is written in perl.

I wish I could one day write the sentence, "I am in New Zealand."

Well, I suppose I could write it. But I mean write it truthfully!
