I've just noticed it today, w/ the 'View Thumbnails' link instead of the shiny Browse button when you compose a message. Is this an oversight or it is planned for later?

Oh no, that is definitely oversight. I took a look though, and it's not a one-minute fix; we should revisit that later though!

Maybe add a Random button there too? I always miss that when I'm writing PMs.
