Hi!

So, this doesn't seem to be a widespread issue or anything and it might very well just be me, but since it's an issue that came up recently, I'm wondering if maybe someone could shed some light on it.

I seem to be having trouble expanding my comments most of the time. Instead of expanding the comments, clicking on Expand will take me to a new page with that subthread, as if I had clicked on 'Thread.' Only I didn't! And I don't know if they are related, but I seem to be having a similar issue with my PMs. If I click on my Sent messages and try to expand and read one with the little triangle near my icon, it refreshes the page and takes me to my inbox instead (different from my sent messages!) So I can't even look over what I've sent.

I'm also having an issue where clicking "Reply to this" or "Post a new comment" sometimes takes me to a new page as well instead of opening up the comment box. But usually I can refresh once or twice and fix this. Still, I find it worth mentioning.

Thank you in advance if anyone knows what might be going on, and -- wow sorry for babbling. I hope I made sense.

Yes, ma'am! ): Just went to check after I got this reply, and I'm still getting the Expand issue -- although I can probably amend to say it sometimes works, but it's not at all reliable or consistent.

I just had to refresh this page to get the comment box to appear after clicking Reply to this as well, but that is a lesser issue it seems . . .

do you have any extensions in your browser that might be blocking javascript from running? i tried two dozen refreshes and couldn't reproduce it, and since the problem last night was with one webserver out of eight, that should've been enough to make the problem happen if it was the same root cause.

ahh! i think that did the trick! i went to check and evidently i had a bunch of junk add-ons/extentions that i had no idea how they got there, so i tried disabling/removing some and i think that did it.

thank you so much! oops, i feel a bit silly now that it was such an easy solution. derp. ♥
