Thanks! I still can't reproduce in FF but I could in Chrome although it's pretty inconsistent and works more often than not. What happens for me sometimes is that it looks like the popup is gonna load but it's very faint or gone as soon as it starts being loaded. I can get it to load again without refreshing the page but it's hit and miss. Hopefully your data and mine are gonna help our devs figure this out.

I'd just like to clarify that this is a problem with usericons put in charts or posts, not for usericons in their proper places. I can get the contextual menu and hovertext both at the same time on your usericon for this comment, for example, but if I posted it myself and added my own hovertext, I'd get the problem I described.

This character relationship chart is an example of what I mean.

Different issue entirely, then. I see what you mean now. I can reproduce and I can confirm that this only happens with icons, not with other images (see http://experiment.dreamwidth.org/16402.html).

Hrrrrrm. I can't seem to reproduce; hovering over the icon in your entry text, i still get the title on hover. I'm trying this on Chrome - should I just keep trying to reload the page or something until it fails?

Hmm. It works for me in Chrome but not in FF. I need to do further testing because there are other factors at play (i'm not logged in in Chrome). I'll get back to you in a few.

Edit: interesting. I changed the icon, went back to Chrome (still logged out) and it wouldn't work any longer. cleared cache, refreshed it, it worked again but not consistently. I keep going back and forth between this comment in FF and Chrome and sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn't. It sort of looks like that if you hover again too soon the hover text won't show. Not sure, though.
