code push complete
The code push is now complete, and we're working on fixing the issues that have been reported!
(Biggest issue right now: Javascript is not being properly loaded on the site.
fu and the rest of the Usual Suspects are working to fix.)

Should I be ashamed of the squeaky noise I made when I saw a code push was going on?

...and now I already want to whine that I want them at the bottom of the page too. Oh well.
ETA: I just went to a post and went looking for the "hide all but top-level comments" link for about a minute before I went, "crap, it's on lj." CURSE YOU,DW. Two hours ago I didn't even know I wanted that feature, and now I can't live without it.

The setting is on this page under "An attempt to crosspost an entry succeeds."

If the thread is not yet collapsed, so the comments are showing without expansion, the alignment is what I expect, without the overlap from one comment to another.
I've gotten this result on both Chromium 14 and Opera 11.51, on Ubuntu Linux 10.10.
My caveat on reporting this here is that I don't typically view comment pages in my style; my default setting is to view them in light style, so it is not impossible this was happening before the most recent code push, and I just never noticed. However, this is not already in bugzilla (that I could find) or a know issue on the help page, so I'm assuming its relatively new.

the "edit entry" success message still says "Crosspost requested to [account]. You will be notified in your Dreamwidth Inbox when this attempt has completed."
Even though I won't be because I haven't opted-in to success-notifications.

I've seen it for my own icons as well two other people's icons, but I don't know whether anyone else has seen it.
