Heads-up

Was looking over recent commits, and have decided it's time for another code push.

Lots of themes in this push! Also, we've tweaked the HTML in the layout credit module, and added the layout and theme names in there. oops not this code push yet

Non-style changes: added useful links off of http://exampleusername.dreamwidth.org/security/, allowed the user tag to link to Tumblr <user name="username" site="tumblr.com">, and there's a couple fixes for stuff in beta plus a bunch of backend stuff.

Anyway, not expecting any downtime; will do the code push within the hour. Expect another post once I'm done.

Remember that you've decided that you want to go through and do the points for committed styles after the code push makes them go live~ I figured now would be a good time to remind you. <3

You are awesome!

I just wanted to let you know that the problem with the blank line above the reading page title that appeared in some journals has been successfully solved. Both of my journals display the reading page title now again as they should, on the same level as any other page title in the journal. Thank you for the quick fix!

Nifty! The only problem seems to be that underneath Public it lists Access List twice. Once is for the Private security level, but it might be good to list it as Access List [Private] or as Private instead of both being listed as Access List.

Whups! That totally is a bug, and I've filed a ticket for it to get fixed. (I was hoping I could do it through the site's translation interface, but alas, not...)

Rich Text Editor issue?

[personal profile] ex_moondancer561 2011-08-02 07:11 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know if it's related to allowed the user tag to link to Tumblr [tumblr.com profile] username or not, but despite displaying correcting while editing a post to off-site journals, I'm getting

[Bad username or site: [livejournal.com profile] username @ livejournal.com]

instead of the "pretty" links, for LJ, IJ and elsewhwere in the actual post.

(Example at http://moondancer.dreamwidth.org/731015.html)

Hm. The syntax should be:

<user name="username" site="sitename.com">

so, like, for LJ, it would be: <user name="username" site="livejournal.com">, etc. (The quotes are optional.)

From the error messages in the post, it looks like you might be trying to use <user name=username@sitename.com> instead. I'm afraid I don't know how the RTE specifically does things, but try it without the @ in the tag! If you keep having problems, check with Support and they can help you keep troubleshooting.

(The RTE is horrible. We know the RTE is horrible, and we're really sorry, and we're trying to find a better one, but any one we find has to be adapted to how the site works and to the site-specific tags and it's so much work, omg.)

I usually only use the RTE for things like the user tags, as I can never remember the proper syntax. What it has done is code as <div class="ljuser" site="livejournal.com"><a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/herbmcsidhe/profile"><strike><img alt="[livejournal.com profile] " style="vertical-align: bottom; border: 0; padding-right: 1px;" src="http://s.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif" /></strike></a><a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/herbmcsidhe/"> I'll drop a note to support about it.
