The code push will begin shortly. As always, it might be a little bumpy while we roll things out, especially since this particular code push has so many things in it.

We've got nearly the entire team on-hand though, ready to watch and fix anything that goes wrong! A partial list: denise, fu, kareila, exor674, alierak. Thanks everybody!

As always, if you notice anything broken or have questions, feel free to comment here. We'll be watching and responding quickly.

Is there anywhere that says what the new code actually does? I haven't seen any problems, but I'd really like to know what's been changed/added. :)

We're working on the latest code tour! You can see previous code tours, which describe all our changes, and the one from 5/12 to today will be up before tomorrow. The last code push was 4/30, so everything past then just went live.

(I may write up release notes for this push, since there's so much stuff of awesomeness in it.)

Code tour is now up.

This is a brief look at all the bugs that haven't been covered in previous code tours. Some of the things in this release were in the previous one, which is also linked from that entry.

This covers every little thing, although not in much depth; each item also links to the bugzilla entry for that bug, which has the patches and usually a link to the changelog entry. The bugzilla entries all have diffs to show lines added and subtracted, as do the changelog entries.

Hmm. Not exactly broken, but when the new cut tag is 'expanded' (on the main page of my journal) sometimes my html doesn't seem to be "taking". I think you have to look at it to see what I mean. It looks it's only happening on the very first post on my journal, which has a lot of fancy coding--well, fancy for me, so maybe there's something specific that's not working.

Edited because I'm half brain-dead and can't type.

Hm. Can you open up a support request (with links) for that? It's complex enough that it's probably an edge case somewhere, and will need some troubleshooting.

Minor thing, but the cut-tag disclosure triangle is difficult (or impossible) to see on dark or black backgrounds. Otherwise, this is slicker than goose poop.

Is this a good place for feedback? I (am sorry I didn't see this notice and therefore didn't immediately assume my issues last night were code-push-related, and hope it wasn't too annoying to have to deal with my support request, but) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the expanding-collapsing cut-tag feature. There is nothing that makes me happier than when I finally get the money to pay for an account and start using it properly, and then you guys bring out things that make it EVEN MORE AWESOME. The collapsing cut tags are fabulous! And the crosspost links make things so easy! You guys are amazing.
