code updated

The code push has completed. If you see anything weird or broken, please let us know.

There was a brief error with being able to post entries that has since been resolved. I'm very sorry for that, but it should be okay now.

For the "Email me when" box, it should follow your default from the Manage Notifications page. If you make sure that the default there is unticked, then it should be unticked normally.

I'm not seeing anything specifically marked as the default tickybox for everything under Notification Tracking (so, individual subscriptions to other people's entries and journals). I do want comments in my own journal etc emailed to me. I just don't need emails for comments in other people's posts which I am tracking.

For Notification Tracking, the box which turns on/off all the "Email" tickyboxes that follow it has always been unchecked, but I always have the "Email" box checked when I click through to follow a specific entry's comments.

Ideally, what I'd like to do is set a default for tracking comments in other people's posts - email or don't email - which would automatically set the Email tickybox on http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/subscriptions/entry?journal=exampleusername&itemid=123456 to my preferred value.

Failing that, I just want to get rid of the ajax which pops up when I click "Track This," at least on my own Reading Page. I always click through to "More Options." It has always annoyed me when it appeared on other people's layouts, but I dealt with it. Now the ajax box seems to be the default for every layout, and it's breaking my use of the Reading Page because it interferes with opening http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/subscriptions/entry?journal=exampleusername&itemid=123456 in a new tab.

I suspect one or more parts of this comment might belong in [site community profile] dw_suggestions.

I have some S2 code which you can put in a theme layer which disables the "hover" track this.

http://afunamatata.com/dreamwidth/s2/no-track-hover.txt

(Note that that only works on your layout / any page with ?style=mine)

[site community profile] dw_suggestions sounds good, for a more general option.
