Yeah, the "new ToS" thing they did was just making you log into the account and confirm that you agree to the new ToS; they didn't make you change your passwords for that. The forced password changes are because they couldn't keep pretending someone got their entire user database anymore after we disclosed it to our users because too many people had the same password for their LJ and DW account and we were going to have to force-reset passwords because bad guys were exploiting them for spamming purposes.
