Oh, yeah so -- Courier is a monospaced (fixed width) font -- and of the monospaced family, it is considered to be Dyslexia friendly. If you include variable width fonts in the analysis, there are definitely better options -- I totally agree with you there!
We use a fixed width font to make it easy to write code (HTML) in your comments/entries which is, unfortunately, something that we sort of have to support. It's pretty hard to write code in a variable width font!
I've been considering whether we should add some kind of RTE/easy editor on the comments that would let us switch to a better/variable width font (while still letting people choose to use the HTML editor if they want). Haven't decided to pursue this yet tho.
