It sounds like you're referring to what bug 86 in Bugzilla talks about. It's a known issue with a fix we made to the reading page logic that had an unintended consequence of breaking it in some very rare case.

We'll have this patched by Open Beta. Your reading page should return to normal as more people post. Sorry for the trouble!
