You can filter to entries, comments, and private messages to view only those items. We have a bug open to allow users to choose whether or not to be notified on successful crosspost (notifications on failure will always be mandatory), but the notification system is a maze of twisty passages all alike and we need to pay some technical debt before we can change it.
