Maintenance/code push this evening

This evening's code push is scheduled to start around 2100 // 9PM EDT (1AM GMT). There'll be a short prep period, and then a brief period of site downtime, most likely around 2130 // 9:30 PM EDT (1:30 AM GMT).

After the downtime, we will be working on doing the maintenance necessary to re-enable userpic keyword renames. This will involve a brief period of read-only mode for each user account. We're not entirely sure how long the conversion process is going to take -- we'll keep you updated on that.

Code push beginning

The code push is now beginning. Again, the first step of the push will involve a very brief downtime, while the second part of the push will involve your particular account being in read-only mode for a few moments. (We don't know how long it will take to get through all the accounts, so there might be a second part tomorrow.)

I'll update this post when we're finished with the first half and have moved on to the second.

(EDIT: We have completed the first half of the code push and are now moving onto the second. Individual users will now find that their account is in read-only mode for a few brief moments sometime over the next 24 hours or so.)
