Yes, you should probably start an import of just comments only; that will abort any outstanding jobs. (I'm pretty sure all of the failed jobs won't be retried, since they failed, not were delayed.)

Can you try your import again? If you're still getting failures after that, please open a support request with the text of the error message that appears in your Inbox.
