code push today (mon 31 oct)

As our Halloween gift to y'all, we are planning a fairly impromptu code push sometime in the next few hours. (It's hard for us to schedule these further ahead of time, due to the difficulty of timezones; fu and I live 12 timezones apart!) The site will be down for approximately 2 minutes as part of the process. We will update here and our offsite status Twitter account when the process begins.

As we mentioned in this week's dw_news update, this code push includes a new profile section for communities you maintain, tied to the display of the list of communities you are a member of. To disable this list, uncheck the "communities" box in the final section of the Edit Profile page.

This code push will also activate the beta testing of our new Create Entries page. Check out dw_beta for more details.

Aww, shucks! I just wish I'd been able to stick around with it through to this stage. I loved working with fu! It was so nice to actually poke my head up with some input then have such a great response from you guys! I can count on one finger how many times that's happened with a project like this :D
